Buttu DMS ("we," "our," or "us") provides enterprise-grade device management solutions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Buttu DMS Android application and our associated web platform.
2. Special Disclosure: Device Administrator Permission
IMPORTANT: This app uses the Device Administrator permission. It is designed for enterprise device management and EMI compliance. As a Device Owner app, Buttu DMS has the authority to:
- Manage device lock status (Remote Lock/Unlock).
- Prevent unauthorized factory resets to ensure EMI security.
- Restrict specific application usage during overdue payment periods.
- Monitor device hardware identifiers (IMEI/Serial Number) for account verification.
3. Data Collection & Usage
To provide security services, we collect the following data:
- Device Identifiers: We collect IMEI and Serial Numbers to link the physical device to your EMI subscription.
- Lock Status: We monitor whether the device is locked or unlocked via our cloud server to ensure sync with your payment status.
- Application Metadata: We do not monitor your personal messages or photos. We only check system-level flags required for kiosk-mode functionality.
4. Data Security
Your data is protected using Bank-Grade Encryption (AES-256). Information is transmitted securely via HTTPS to our centralized management portal. We do not sell or share your personal data with third-party advertisers.
5. User Control & Uninstallation
Because this app acts as a Device Owner for enterprise security, uninstallation is restricted while an active EMI contract is in place. Once the contract is fulfilled, the administrator will remotely grant uninstallation permissions.
