Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 08, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By activating a device equipped with Buttu DMS software, you (the "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This software is an Enterprise Device Management (DMS) solution intended for EMI compliance and security.
2. Device Administrator & Management
Notice of Restriction: This application operates as a Device Owner. By using this device, you acknowledge that the administrator has the right to:
- Remotely restrict access to device features (Camera, Browser, Apps) if EMI payments are overdue.
- Prevent Factory Resets to protect the security of the hardware investment.
- Automatically launch the Buttu DMS interface upon device boot-up.
3. User Responsibilities
Users are prohibited from:
- Attempting to "Root" or "Jailbreak" the device to bypass security.
- Using third-party software to interfere with the Buttu DMS background services.
- Tampering with the device hardware to remove the system-level lock.
4. Payment & Service Suspension
Buttu DMS acts as a technical facilitator for your lender. If your account shows a "Default" or "Overdue" status in the integrated ledger, the device will enter Restricted Mode. While in this mode, only emergency calls and payment-related applications will remain functional.
5. Limitation of Liability
Buttu DMS (provided by Micro Datasoft / Zero Infosys) is not liable for any data loss, loss of business, or inability to use the device for non-emergency purposes during a period of administrative lock. We strongly advise maintaining backups of personal data in a cloud service.
6. Termination of Admin Status
The "Device Owner" status will be removed, and full control of the device will be returned to the User, only after the associated EMI contract is confirmed as "Paid in Full" by the authorized lender.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be settled in the jurisdiction of Dhaka.
